The Triple C Robotics camp will focus on providing students in grades 3rd-5th an introduction to robotics. The Three C's are character, challenge, and competition. The character component will build on our robotics mission to always demonstrate gracious professionalism. The students will work in teams to design solutions to several robotics challenges, and throughout the week we will build towards the friendly competition when robots compete and are judged on a variety of criteria. Activities will include:

• Robot design and coding using the Spike robot kits from Lego Education

• Introduction to Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D printing

• Technical communication and team work

• Hands on demos with middle and high school robots

• Introduction to STEM careers that utilize robotics and related skills

• Competition! Friday afternoon will include a programming competition and judging of robot design, creativity, and teamwork.

No experience necessary! This program is a great introduction for students new to robotics, and for those who participated in FIRST robotics programs previously this is a wonderful way to keep the excitement alive. 

This camp will be powered by high school students from the CBA RoboKings and the many volunteers that have built the RoboKings program to being a leader in the local robotics community. We are excited to share our love for robotics with your child!
